1.EXPLANATION
The definitions of all capitalized words in this Privacy Policy will be the same as in our terms of use, unless stated otherwise.
2.THE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU THAT WE GATHER
We collect certain details about you. We can get your personal information from you, from others, or from the app itself when you create an account or share personal details with us for any reason. We can collect information for many different reasons and using various methods, including those allowed by the Cybercrimes Act of 2015.
We gather this information every time you visit our website or use the app:
When you visit the website or app, we may collect certain technical details about how you use it. This data may contain details like your IP address, the webpages you have seen before or are looking at now, how long you spend on each page, the ID of your internet device, and details about the type of device and its operating system that you are using to access the app or website.
Moreover, cookies can be used to automatically collect specific information whenever you visit our website or app. Cookies are tiny files that are saved on your phone or computer. Cookies are used to track how users behave and improve the way users interact with a website. Most phones and web browsers can use cookies. But you can change the settings on your device or browser to stop certain types or categories of cookies from being used. Also, you can delete any cookies that have been saved before by using your phone or computer's internet browser. This could affect how our website and app work.
We will collect and track your location information while you use the app on your phone. Sometimes, you might need to turn on the Global Positioning System (GPS) on your phone to make the App work better for you.
When using the app, you need to share details about your phone, like its IMEI number, MAC address, and phone number. You also need to provide info about your mobile network, operating system, browser type, and time zone settings. Additionally, you need to provide your list of emergency contacts, call and text message logs, photos, videos, or any other digital files.
We collect all your text messages, but we only use them for financial transactions. To be more specific, we will collect the sender's information, details about the transaction, and the total amount involved to assess the credit risk. This makes it easier to quickly give out loans. We do not watch, keep, or share any private text messages.
We collect your location information when the app is open on your screen. We try our best to avoid gathering your location information when the app is running in the background, but there is a chance that this data could be collected by mistake. You can always turn off location tracking on your phone for a while. However, this could affect how the App works.
Information collected either from your mobile device or directly from
you
When you sign up and make an account with us through the app, you need
to give us some personal details. These include your name, birth date,
gender, education level, religion, photo, home address, email, job
status, marital status, emergency contact, phone number, SIM card info,
financial and credit details (like your mobile money account info if you
have one), and a username and password to use the app.
To make sure the app works well, you must give us any important information we ask for. For example, when you use the app's electronic money option, you will provide us with your payment details. This information will have the account number, the name of the account owner, the company that issued the card, the type of card or mobile wallet used, and the amount of money spent.
Information gathered from outside sources:
We can get information about you from many different partners we work
with because of the services we offer. Collection agencies, banks, phone
companies, our partners, suppliers, contractors, and others we work with
are all known as third parties. If this happens, we will only gather
your personal information for our collaboration with third parties or
for the purposes they are involved in. We have made sure that other
parties follow our Privacy Policy and the Cybercrimes Act of 2015,
except for this Act. This means we need your permission before we can
share your personal information.
Information provided by someone other than yourself
You can provide us with personal information about people like your
spouse, family members, friends, and emergency contacts. Their agreement
is needed for this; for more information, please check the related
content below.

You might not be able to use the app and certain services if you take back your consent, depending on the type of consent you are withdrawing. It is important to know this. You can end your contract with us and close your account by withdrawing your agreement. All the rights and duties obtained during that time will be completely kept. We will inform you about the possible consequences if you decide to cancel your permission for us to collect, use, or share your personal information once we receive your notification. This will help you decide if you want to keep going.
13. INFORMATION MEANT FOR ADVERTISING AND PROMOTING
a. We might share details about our app and the things it offers, or let you know about special deals, benefits, or events organized by us, our partners, sponsors, or advertisers. This can be done by using instant notifications through the app, text messages, online chat, email, letters, or phone calls.
b. You can stop getting these marketing messages at any time by letting us know using the contact details provided or by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in the message. We might still send you messages that are not advertisements, like updates about loans, account details, or other important information, even if you choose not to receive them.
